What problem does it solve?

This Skill removes the friction of manually formatting and recording workout sessions and removes the manual effort of checking past entries to identify progress or regressions.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Guided capture: Asks three concise questions (split, exercises, feel) to collect structured workout details.
  • History comparison: Reads recent entries from the Workouts folder and compares sets, reps, and weights to mark improvements, declines, or PRs.
  • Formatted output: Generates a ready-to-save Markdown note with frontmatter, exercise table, mapped muscle tags, and summary notes for Obsidian.
  • Use case: Quickly log a gym session, see which lifts improved since the last time that split was done, and save a clean, date-stamped note to your fitness vault.

Quick Start

Run the log-workout skill or say log-workout and answer the three prompts to create a formatted Obsidian workout note and compare it to prior entries.
