What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the end-to-end pull request workflow, turning raw changes into clean, well-documented drafts without manual boilerplate.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Pre-Validation & State Preservation: Validates repository state, detects conflicts, and saves the current branch and commit so you can rollback if needed.
  • Branch & Platform Orchestration: Detects platform (GitHub or GitLab), handles branch creation or reuse, and aligns with main/master.
  • Commit Restructuring: Invokes the recreate-commits skill to produce a coherent, narrative history for the PR.
  • Description Generation: Uses pr-description-generator to produce a conventional-commit–style title and a comprehensive description.
  • Draft PR Creation: Creates a draft PR on GitHub or GitLab and provides a manual fallback if automatic creation fails.

Quick Start

Start the workflow by running /kramme:create-pr in a git repository with changes you want to include in a PR, then follow the on-screen prompts to configure platform, branch naming, commit style, and the PR description.
