The knowledge base (KB) provides a structured, local repository of research knowledge through cards, topics, and context, enabling fast discovery, consistent updates, and controlled resets.

• Create, read, update, and delete knowledge cards stored under <kb_path>/cards with metadata and body.
• Manage topics (overview documents) and an index that tracks taxonomy and staleness for topic overviews.
• Persist user priorities and session history in research-context.md and maintain a chronological research-journal.

Quick Start

Create or update a knowledge-card by adding a Markdown file with YAML frontmatter to <kb_path>/cards and then use KB commands to read, search, or update cards.
