What problem does it solve?

This skill captures ideas, tasks, or issues that surface during a Kata session and stores them as structured Markdown artifacts for later work. It automatically creates files under .planning/issues/open with consistent metadata derived from the conversation and supports migrating legacy planning items from older structures. Triggers include "add issue", "capture issue", "new issue", "create issue", "log issue", "file issue", "add todo" (deprecated), "capture todo" (deprecated), "new todo" (deprecated).

Quick Start

Use the skill by saying add issue: [title] or capture issue: [title]. The system will extract the problem, context, and proposed solution and create a new Markdown file under .planning/issues/open with metadata ready for future review.
