What problem does it solve?

The Kanban Sweep provides a structured, read-only analysis of the Business OS kanban system to surface bottlenecks, generate ranked interventions, and produce a single, ready-to-apply sweep report.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Read-only kanban diagnostics: analyzes businesses, people, cards, ideas, and stage docs to identify constraints.
  • Output artifacts: writes a sweep report to docs/business-os/sweeps/<YYYY-MM-DD>-sweep.user.md and can read previous sweeps for reflection.
  • Optional idea creation: when invoked with --create-ideas, drafts ideas are created via the BOS API.
  • Security and invariants: operates strictly within agent API boundaries and enforces non-destructive behavior unless explicitly requested.

Quick Start

Invoke the sweep with the command /kanban-sweep. If you want to also generate draft ideas, pass the --create-ideas flag.
