What problem does it solve?

This skill guides conversations to transform vague customer asks into detailed, structured feature requests that can be tracked in Linear. It reduces back-and-forth by eliciting the who, what, and why, ensuring requests are actionable and associated with the correct customer records.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Guided Discovery: Ask follow-up questions one at a time to clarify the request, scope, priority, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
• Linear Customer Management: Search for existing customers in Linear, confirm matches with the user, or create new customer records when needed.
• Issue Creation & Association: Build a concise title and user-story formatted description, classify priority and area labels, create the issue via Linear MCP tools in the Development team / Feature Requests project, and attach customer needs.
• Use Case: A support rep reports "merchant requests an improved dashboard"; the skill captures details, finds or creates the merchant in Linear, drafts the user story with acceptance criteria, and opens the issue with the correct labels.

Quick Start

Ask the user to describe the customer's requested feature, confirm the customer's name for lookup in Linear, and state the desired priority so I can prepare the feature request.
