What problem does it solve?

Sharing learned instincts across multiple projects is challenging; this skill exports instincts from .claude/instincts/instincts.jsonl to a portable format for cross-project sharing.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Export all instincts with confidence >= 0.5 to enable safe sharing.
  • Filter instincts by category to target relevant capabilities for a project.
  • Specify a custom output path to integrate with existing workflows.
  • What gets exported: pattern description and action, category and confidence score, occurrence count; What gets stripped: source branch names, dates (year-month), file paths, session metadata, and already-promoted instincts.

Quick Start

Run the instinct export command using .claude/hooks/instinct-cli.sh export to generate a shareable instincts.jsonl file.
