What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables adding resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, rate limiting, and bulkheads) to Firefly Framework services, guarding against outages and cascading failures.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Resilience4j-based protection for reactive event publishers (EDA) and service clients
  • Custom resilience primitives (AdvancedResilienceManager, CircuitBreakerManager) providing bulkhead, token-bucket rate limiting, adaptive timeout, and load shedding
  • Configuration-driven defaults and observability with health state reporting and status checks

Quick Start

Enable resilience in your Firefly service by configuring the EDA and client patterns and wrapping publishers and clients with the provided resilience decorators.
