What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the creation of High-Level Design (HLD) documents for Azure infrastructure, reducing manual documentation effort and ensuring consistency with enterprise standards.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Template-driven HLDs: Produce a ready-to-customize HLD skeleton when no code is available.
  • Code-driven HLDs: Analyze Bicep/Terraform code to extract architecture, topology, IP addressing, governance, and security details.
  • Validation & Guidance: Flag gaps and provide references to standards for review and alignment.

Quick Start

Run the hld-generator to create either a template or a customer-specific HLD. Example commands:

  • /hld-generator
  • /hld-generator --customer contoso --project azure-landing-zone
