This skill automates the updating and maintenance of HAP Skills Collection's four core skills, reducing manual effort and ensuring you always work with the latest capabilities.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Automates pulling updates from GitHub for hap-v3-api, hap-view-plugin, hap-frontend-project, and hap-mcp-usage.
  • Copies missing SKILL.md files into local skill directories under ~/.claude/skills for quick synchronization.
  • Validates MCP installation and prompts for restart when updates require it.

Quick Start

Steps to update:

  1. Ensure you have a local copy of hap-skills-collection and pull the latest changes.
  2. Create ~/.claude/skills if it doesn't exist and copy the four core SKILL.md files into their respective directories.
  3. Verify updates and MCP installation, then restart your tool to apply changes.
