What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps teams track progress on implementing system design gap analyses, keeping the implementation plan organized and up-to-date to reduce delays from miscommunication and scope drift.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Progress tracking: Read the master implementation plan and produce a concise status per phase.
  • Mark complete: Change an item's status to completed and refresh the dashboard and progress log.
  • Show next items: Retrieve the next high-priority uncompleted gaps to work on.
  • Show items by category: Filter gaps by category prefixes (e.g., CACHE, K8S, NET, SEC, DB).
  • Dashboard updates: Recalculate and apply the dashboard at the top of the tracker file.
  • Progress logging: Append an entry to the Progress Log with the date and completed items.

Quick Start

Use the gap-tracker to check progress, or say "mark complete CACHE-001" to update an item, or "what's next" to see the next tasks.
