What problem does it solve?

This Skill analyzes gait data from kinematic reconstructions to compute spatiotemporal metrics, joint ROM per gait cycle, and higher-level indices like Gait Deviation Index (GDI).

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Walking segment detection: Identifies valid walking segments from kinematic data using GaitTransformer and Kalman-filtered phase outputs.
  • Metrics & ROM: Computes step length, step width, cadence, velocity, cadence, gait phase percentages, and joint ROM for both planar and monocular reconstructions.
  • GDI & asymmetry: Provides GDI scores and left-right asymmetry metrics to quantify gait pathology.
  • Data compatibility: Works with multi-camera (MMC) and monocular (PBL) data and links to DataJoint pipelines for integrated analysis.

Quick Start

Provide your kinematic reconstruction key and run gait-metrics to obtain per-step, per-cycle, and ROM analytics across trials.
