bunx skills find [query] and checks the skills.sh leaderboard for popular, well-maintained options. - Quality Verification: Evaluates install counts, source reputation, and GitHub stars before recommending any skill. - Guided Installation: Installs skills with bunx skills add <owner/repo@skill> -g -y and presents links to learn more. - Use Case: You ask "how do I make my React app faster?" and the Skill searches for React performance skills, verifies the top result has 185K installs from a trusted source, and offers to install it for you. ## Quick Start Ask the agent to find a skill for your task, for example: find a skill that helps with PR reviews.High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.
Run bunx skills find followed by keywords describing your task, such as bunx skills find react performance. You can also browse the skills.sh leaderboard to see the most-installed skills by category before searching.
Use bunx skills add with the owner/repo@skill format, for example bunx skills add vercel-labs/agent-skills@react-best-practices. Add the -g flag for global user-level installation and -y to skip confirmation prompts.
Check three signals: prefer skills with 1K+ installs, favor official sources like vercel-labs or anthropics, and verify the source GitHub repository has a reasonable star count. Be cautious with anything under 100 installs.
If the search returns no relevant results, the agent can handle the task directly with its general capabilities. For recurring needs, you can create your own skill by running bunx skills init followed by your skill name.
Run bunx skills check to see which installed skills have updates available, then run bunx skills update to update all installed skills at once.
