What problem does it solve?

Converts a published or drafted article from Markdown into a single self-contained HTML file with all images embedded as base64, enabling easy distribution without external assets.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Locate article in published/ or drafts/ and convert to HTML.
  • Embed all images as base64 data URIs inside the HTML to remove external dependencies.
  • Produce a clean, Substack/Medium-friendly layout with consistent typography and styling.
  • Use Case: An author wants to share a finished article as a standalone HTML page that can be pasted directly into a newsletter editor without hosting images.

Quick Start

Run the export-html skill after finalizing an article to generate published/<topic-slug>.html with all images embedded.
