What problem does it solve?

This Skill enables verification of smart contracts on Etherscan-compatible explorers, covering standard verification and extended cases on chains via Etherscan's V2 API, proxy patterns, and factory-created deployments.

  • Standard verification with Foundry's forge verify-contract for native chains.
  • Etherscan V2 API support for unsupported chains on Foundry.
  • Proxy and factory deployment verification, including extraction of constructor arguments from deployment data.

Quick Start

Run forge verify-contract with the contract address, source file and contract, plus the proper --verifier (etherscan) options. If the target chain is not supported by Foundry, add --verifier-url with the Etherscan V2 API endpoint and provide your API key, then watch for results.
