What problem does it solve?

This skill provides guidance for integrating projects with the ephemeral environment system, which automatically creates preview deployments for GitHub pull requests.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Detects when a PR is opened or updated and spins up an EC2 instance with the PR's code
  • Runs the application via docker-compose
  • Exposes it publicly through a Cloudflare tunnel
  • Posts the preview URL as a PR comment
  • Cleans up resources when the PR closes
  • Integration prerequisites: a docker-compose.yml at repository root and the GitHub App installation
