What problem does it solve?
Dividend tracking automates importing Fidelity dividend data into the Dividends sheet, calculating totals, and kicking off processing so accurate records are kept without manual data entry.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Read Fidelity CSV: Import symbols, quantities, and pay dates from notebooks/updates/dividend.csv.
- Calculate Dividends: Compute Dividends Received as Quantity × Amount per share, aggregating by ticker and past-pay dates.
- Write & Process: Write records into the Dividends input area (A2:D43) and trigger Apps Script to update the historical log.
- Automation & Validation: Ensure input area has available slots, enforce max 42 records, and clear after processing.
Quick Start
Sync dividends by running the SyncDividends workflow to import the Fidelity dividend CSV, compute totals, and update the Dividends sheet.
