What problem does it solve?
Many teams need high-fidelity exports of Dev Graph visualizations and analytics for reporting, sprint reviews, archival, and external presentations, but the UI does not always provide consistent, batchable exports. This Skill centralizes and automates generation of structure SVGs, timeline frames, video segments, and dashboard JSON so teams can reproduce visuals and link them to sprint windows.
Core Features & Use Cases
- API-driven SVG parity timeline exports: Generate per-commit SVG frames and stitched MP4/GIF segments using a Node renderer that matches the UI rendering.
- UI-driven exports: Use Playwright-powered Python scripts to export Structure View SVGs and MP4 timeline captures when UI-only interactions are required.
- Dashboard & analytics dumps: Pull stats, analytics, quality, and sprint metadata as JSON for offline analysis or to combine with exported visuals.
- Use Case: Produce a sprint video and a dashboard JSON bundle to include in a sprint retrospective, indexed to commit frames for visual evidence.
Quick Start
Export timeline SVG frames, MP4 segments, structure SVG, and dashboard JSON from http://localhost:8080 into exports/dev-graph using the dev-graph-exports scripts.
