What problem does it solve?

Many NovaDB workflows require adding review or audit notes to objects, but the create-comment API only returns an identifier and requires a follow-up fetch to obtain the full comment. This Skill handles the end-to-end creation and retrieval so users get the complete comment data without manually orchestrating the steps.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Two-step workflow: Calls the create-comment API to receive an id and immediately fetches the full comment using that id.
  • XHTML body enforcement: Ensures the comment body is valid XHTML with a div root, wrapping plain text when necessary.
  • Parameters & audit: Accepts branchId, objectRef, body (XHTML), and optional username for auditing and multi-branch workflows.
  • Use Case: Add a reviewer comment to an object in a development branch and return the full comment record including author and timestamps.

Quick Start

Create a new comment on a specific NovaDB object by providing the branchId, objectRef, and a div-wrapped XHTML body.
