What problem does it solve?
This Skill enhances ForemanOS construction plan processing by strengthening the extraction, cross-reference resolution, and takeoff data generation from complex drawings.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Two-pass discipline prompts: classify pages and tailor vision prompts for architectural, structural, MEP, and civil drawings.
- Cross-reference & sheet continuity: link bubbles, sections, and notes across sheets to improve RAG context and aggregation of quantities.
- Symbol recognition & CSI mapping: leverage the symbol library to identify drawing icons and map them to CSI MasterFormat sections for specification tracing.
- Takeoff-ready data: produce structured material takeoff context (dimensions, areas, counts) with waste factors and validation checks.
Quick Start
Run the skill against a representative set of project drawings (A-201 floor plan, S-101 foundation plan) to generate cross-sheet references and takeoff-ready data.
