Core Features & Use Cases

• Branch validation and PR checks: On feature branches verify PR status; stop without PR and guide user to finishing-a-development-branch.
• Find in-progress leaf tasks: Locate the current actionable in_progress leaf; handle multiple or none gracefully.
• Close task and plan cleanup: Use bd close to finalize task; detect plan files via Plan: link or docs/plans/ and offer Delete/Archive/Keep.
• Remove Plan link from description: Update task description when plan is deleted or archived.
• Parent recursion with confirmation: After closing a task, recursively prompt to close any parent tasks until the user declines or no open children remain.
• bd sync: Always run bd sync at the end to synchronize state with remote.
• Cleanup options: If the current branch contains the task ID, offer to clean up branches/worktrees with explicit confirmation.
