What problem does it solve?

Create a lightweight codebase_context.md that anchors the idea in the existing repo (modules, constraints, extension points). Generic framework prompt.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Produces a stable, repo-aware map of the codebase areas most relevant to a given IDEA (API, core logic, data models/state, UI, tests, and deployment boundaries).
  • Identifies extension points and boundaries to guide future work and minimize greenfield assumptions.
  • Generates a canonical artifact at docs/forge/ideas/<IDEA_ID>/latest/codebase_context.md along with a run snapshot.

Quick Start

Create the codebase_context.md anchored to the IDEA_ID using the vf.resolve_idea_id workflow and store outputs under the repo's codebase context pathway.
