What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps users keep Claude Code workspace clean by removing outdated or unused sessions from the resume picker, reducing clutter and confusion.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Discover and classify Claude Code sessions by age, activity, and naming to identify candidates for cleanup.
  • Interactive per-category selection with safe, auto-selected cleanups and a dry-run preview before any deletion.
  • Preserve important artifacts (memory files and project metadata) while deleting only the raw transcripts and per-session directories.

Quick Start

Run the cleanup script to start the interactive session management:

  • python3 ~/.claude/skills/clean-sessions/scripts/clean-sessions.py You can optionally target a specific project with --project PATH or preview changes with --dry-run.
