What problem does it solve?

Author or extend PlotSpec-based visualizations with validated IR contracts and backend-agnostic rendering.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Build and validate PlotSpec-based visualizations using the PlotSpec IR primitives such as PlotSpec, BarHPanelSpec, BarItem, and IntervalHeaderSpec.
  • Use the builder pattern to compose plots from explanations, including a header and a body of feature bars, with the ability to sort and filter by weight.
  • Register and render new plot builders via the plugin registry and the render pipeline, enabling backend-agnostic visualization with a default matplotlib adapter.

Quick Start

Use the ce-plotspec-author skill to author a new PlotSpec-based visualization and render it with the default matplotlib backend.
