How do I see all caveman modes and commands?▼

What caveman modes are available?▼

Six modes exist: lite, full (default), ultra, wenyan-lite, wenyan, and wenyan-ultra. Each applies progressively stronger compression, from dropping filler words to full classical Chinese terseness.

Does caveman-help change the active mode?▼

No. The help card is strictly one-shot: it does not flip the active mode, write flag files, or persist anything. The current mode stays until you change it or the session ends.

How do I turn off caveman mode?▼

Say "stop caveman" or "normal mode" to deactivate. You can resume anytime with /caveman, and set "off" in the config file to disable auto-activation on session start.

How do I change the default caveman mode?▼

Set the CAVEMAN_DEFAULT_MODE environment variable (highest priority) or edit the config.json file with a defaultMode value such as "lite". Resolution order is env var, then config file, then full.
