What problem does it solve? Consequential decisions made with AI agents often suffer from framing bias, confirmation bias, terminology drift, and lost context between sessions. This Skill structures decision interviews so the human decision owner reaches dependable choices without unnecessary process. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Three Operating Modes: Run interviews as Interviewer, review another agent's questions as Independent Reviewer, or combine both with a disclosed consistency-review pass. - Counterbalanced Question Design: Split compound decisions, apply alternate framing angles (adopt/reject, gain/loss, default-reversed), and preserve an Other/Reframe path to reduce bias. - Continuity Artifacts: Produce standalone Decision Calibration Checkpoints, execution plan reviews, and After-Action Review handoffs that a fresh agent can use without replaying the conversation. - Use Case: A user is choosing between vendor options with another AI agent. Paste the agent's questions into this Skill to get Agree/Disagree/Reframe recommendations with reasoning, then checkpoint the settled decisions for the next session. ## Quick Start Use calibrate-decisions to review the questions this other agent asked me and help me answer them without bias.

Frequently Asked Questions about calibrate-decisions

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema
How do I reduce bias when making decisions with an AI assistant?▼

Use counterbalanced framing: ask the same decision from adopt/reject, gain/loss, and default-reversed angles, then compare answers for consistency. This Skill structures that process with tracked decision IDs and neutral choice design.

How do I review questions from another AI agent before answering?▼

Paste the other agent's questions into a session using this Skill's Independent Reviewer mode. For each question you get an Agree, Disagree, or Other/Reframe recommendation, a short reason, and copy-ready wording only when a reframe is needed.

Can I continue a decision interview in a new chat session?▼

Yes. The Skill creates standalone Decision Calibration Checkpoints recording decisions made, open questions, terminology, and the exact next action. A fresh agent can continue from the checkpoint without replaying the conversation.

When should I not use a structured decision interview process?▼

Skip it for routine low-impact choices, reversible details, or decisions already settled by clear constraints. The Skill explicitly avoids counterbalancing routine preferences and does not replace the human decision owner.

How does the Skill check whether my answers contradict each other?▼

Its consistency review compares answers sharing a boundary, term, or authority and labels them Consistent, Tension, Conflict, or Unclear. For conflicts it cites the decision IDs and asks the smallest clarification that resolves them.
