What problem does it solve?

This Skill provides a fast, low-overhead way for external tools and AI agents to interact with a running agent-hand instance, enabling programmatic control over sessions, canvas operations, and hook event handling without the overhead of the main TUI application.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Fast IPC: Utilizes a lightweight companion binary (agent-hand-bridge) for quick communication via Unix sockets.
  • Multiple Interaction Modes: Supports hook event processing, canvas manipulation, session management, and status queries.
  • Use Case: An AI agent needs to automatically create new project sessions, add tasks to its workflow canvas, and respond to prompts from other tools. agent-hand-bridge allows the agent to do this efficiently in the background.

Quick Start

Use agent-hand-bridge to list all current sessions.
