What problem does it solve?
This Skill provides a practical blueprint for discovering and describing Skill Units in a repository by requiring a root SKILL.md with a name and description and by organizing optional resources for execution or reference.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Detects valid Skill Units by the presence of SKILL.md at the root, extracts the mandatory frontmatter fields (name, description) for indexing, and surfaces metadata for cataloging.
- Structures metadata for downstream tooling, including optional scripts/, references/, and assets/ directories when present.
- Enables consistent discovery, documentation, and activation of Skills across large codebases and documentation repositories.
Quick Start
Identify Skill Units by locating SKILL.md at the root of each directory and emit a metadata block for each discovered unit.
