What problem does it solve?

This Skill addresses the need for secure, direct exchange of identity data and attestations between EUDI Wallets, enabling peer-to-peer interactions for natural persons.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Peer-to-Peer Attestation Exchange: Facilitates secure sharing of Person Identification Data (PID) and electronic attestations of attributes (EAAs) between two EUDI Wallets.
  • Wallet-to-Wallet Flows: Implements the protocols and trust models required for direct interactions, including Holder and Verifier roles.
  • Use Case: A user wants to rent a car from another private individual. The car owner (Verifier) needs to confirm the renter's (Holder) driving license. Both users initiate a Wallet-to-Wallet interaction, and the Holder securely presents their digital driving license attestation to the Verifier's EUDI Wallet.
