What problem does it solve?

This Skill empowers developers to create reusable, declarative DOM manipulations and behaviors within Angular applications, reducing boilerplate code and enhancing component functionality.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Attribute Directives: Modify element appearance or behavior (e.g., highlighting, tooltips, button styling).
  • Structural Directives: Control DOM structure (e.g., portals, lazy rendering, custom template outlets).
  • Host Directives: Compose multiple behaviors onto components or other directives for reusability.
  • Use Case: Implement a custom appTooltip directive to easily add tooltips to any element, or a appLazyLoad directive to defer loading images until they are in the viewport.

Quick Start

Create a new attribute directive named appHighlight that changes the background color of an element to yellow.
