Initializes a project with canonical AIDD workspace scaffolding, enabling rapid bootstrap of core templates and a ready-to-use project structure.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Bootstraps the canonical AIDD workspace by copying core templates into your project (AGENTS.md, docs/shared/stage-lexicon.md, docs/index/schema.json, docs/prd/template.md, docs/plan/template.md, docs/research/template.md, docs/spec/template.spec.yaml, docs/tasklist/template.md, docs/loops/template.loop-pack.md, reports/context/template.context-pack.md).
  • Seeds essential templates and establishes the workspace layout (including reports/loops) and preconfigures settings when build tools are detected.
  • Exposes a runtime entrypoint to bootstrap and validate the workspace, with optional flags to force overwrites and detect build tools.

Quick Start

Run python3 ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/skills/aidd-init/runtime/init.py to bootstrap the workspace templates into the current project.
