Core Features & Use Cases

  • Cross-CLI collaboration: Run multiple AI CLIs (Claude, Codex, Gemini, etc.) in separate Kitty windows and coordinate tasks.
  • Window discovery: List active AI windows and target specific ones for responses.
  • Message routing: Send messages to chosen AI, and receive structured feedback or decisions.
  • Use Case: Have Codex review your main.py while Gemini analyzes architecture and Claude cross-checks tests.
  • Long-form outputs: Request results to be written to a file to bypass terminal length limits.

Quick Start

  • Install ai-comm and configure Kitty remote control.
  • Open separate Kitty windows and launch your AI CLIs (claude, codex, gemini, etc.).
  • Run ai-comm list-ai-windows to see window IDs, then ai-comm send "Review src/main.py for edge cases" -w 12.
