This Skill helps developers and users diagnose and resolve issues related to the loading and execution of agents, skills, and hooks within the development environment, eliminating guesswork.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Real-time Event Monitoring: Observe system prompt assembly, tool calls, participant resolution, skill loading, instruction matching, hook execution, and agent selection as they happen.
  • Diagnostic Insights: Provides clear explanations for why certain components load or fail to load, and how instructions and hooks are matched or executed.
  • Use Case: When a custom skill fails to activate, open the Agent Debug Panel to inspect the 'Skill Loading' tab and verify the applyTo glob pattern in SKILL.md is correctly configured for the active file.

Quick Start

Open the Command Palette and run the command Developer: Open Agent Debug Panel.
