What problem does it solve?

This skill allows you to add new tasks to an existing tracker, automatically placing them into the correct phase and track with associated metadata such as priority, complexity, acceptance criteria, and dependencies.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Argument-driven task creation: Parse tracker name, phase, track, priority, complexity, description, acceptance criteria, and dependencies from user input.
• Tracker-aware insertion: Locate or create the appropriate phase and track in the tracker, append the new task entry, and update overview statistics.
• Plan file support: Optional generation of a detailed plan file per task and optional creation of a dedicated plan document.
• Use Case: Add a new feature task to Phase 2, Track "backend", with High priority and Medium complexity, including a brief description and acceptance criteria.

Quick Start

Run: /add-task my-app --phase=2 --track=backend --priority=High Then provide the task title and optional details when prompted.
