What problem does it solve?

This Skill lets you extend internbot's listening scope by updating the channel whitelist without code changes.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Add a Slack channel to the bot's whitelist so it starts listening in that channel.
  • Ensure only whitelisted channels receive bot messages, while maintaining DM interactions.
  • Use case: an admin wants the bot to monitor a new team channel for triage prompts.

Quick Start

Add the new Slack channel ID to the WHITELISTED_CHANNELS in the .env file and restart the internbot service.
