This skill automates the generation and verification of web scraper scripts using Actionbook's verified selectors, reducing manual trial-and-error and ensuring reliable data extraction.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Two-part verification: ensures the generated scraper script runs without errors and that extracted data matches expected fields.
  • End-to-end scraper generation: covers analysis, selector retrieval, script output (agent-browser commands by default or Playwright when using --standalone), and data preview.
  • Auto-fix and retry: detects selector or extraction issues and retries up to 3 times with corrected logic.

Quick Start

To begin, provide a target page URL to generate a scraper: /actionbook-scraper:generate https://example.com The tool will locate Actionbook selectors, generate a scraper, verify it by executing the script, and return a verified script plus a preview of the extracted data.
