What problem does it solve?
Aave V3 Efficiency Modes (eModes) help users and developers improve capital efficiency by grouping correlated assets under specialized borrowing parameters, enabling optimized risk and reward tradeoffs.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Define eMode categories with custom LTV, liquidation thresholds, and labels.
- Use collateralBitmap and borrowableBitmap to control which assets participate in each eMode.
- Validate health factor after entering or leaving an eMode and ensure borrowed assets remain borrowable in the new mode.
- Manage eMode data via EModeConfiguration, EModeLogic, Pool, and PoolConfigurator references.
Quick Start
Configure an eMode category and assign a user to that category using PoolConfigurator and Pool contracts.
